The Onsemhoeve
… is a historic farmstead, situated in the gently
rolling hills of the Pajottenland, the countryside West of
Brussels so familiar to us through the paintings of Pieter
Brueghel.
The farmstead goes back to 1420, but owes its present configuration
to a thorough restructuring in 1870. Michel Coppens acquired
the building and its surrounding meadows in 1995. He has
since looked after the restoration of the site with great
care. His purpose is to bring new life to the farm by opening
the house to paying guests, offering a unique formula to
anyone in search of authentic, high-quality accommodation
near the European capital.
Perfectly equipped for short and medium-term stays, the Onsemhoeve offers the
business traveller all the peace, quiet and comfort of country living. For visitors
to Brussels and the Pajottenland, the farmhouse forms an ideal base from which
to cycle or simply stroll through Breughel’s beautiful landscapes.
